Course Description:
Cooperative Marketing Education is a year-long course designed to expand the fundamentals of the Marketing Education (semester) course. It is intended that each student will gain specific skills (competencies) in a pre-determined career area (career objective). Much of the course will be individualized with the students' career objective or interest in mind. Emphasis will be placed on developing leadership/management skills and techniques for each student. A primary component of the course is employment in a selected training station. Students will be encouraged to utilize the computer laboratory facilities on an individual basis and will be provided a variety of opportunities to learn about marketing through case studies and simulations.
