Course Description:  Java is a “write once, run anywhere” computer programming language that is platform independent. It is currently one of the most popular programming languages in use, and is widely used from application software to web applications. Students are expected to acquire mastery of the specified aspects of Java. Suitable mechanisms include “encapsulation, polymorphism, and inheritance, although other structured approached are possible.” Course to start Fall of 2011.
