Course Description:  The purpose of this course is to acquire academic knowledge and understanding necessary for healthy decision making during the teen years. Students integrate knowledge, skills and practices required by individuals to develop, manage, and strengthen: personal power and success; personal wellness; personal relationships; understanding personal sexuality; and teens and the law. Emphasis is placed on teens as valued individuals who take responsibility for personal success and contribute to family and community well being.
