Course Description:  This course is designed for 11th or 12th grade students that have interest in the Health Sciences Pathway. This course emphasizes the learning of Latin or Greek elements used in medical terminology. Knowledge of these elements with simplified meaning enables students to interpret and understand thousands of complex medical terms. This course is a prerequisite for CAN, EMS and EMT. Starting Fall of 2011.
